I bought a burger press last week and so far have only made chicken burgers with it but they are delicious!
To make these, I blitzed the following in my food processor: 3 x chicken breasts, 1 apple, 1 red onion, 2 slices bread and cornflakes. I then pressed the mixture in to my burger press. Three chicken breasts made 11 burgers. Last week, I added some chopped fresh chilli to the burger mixture which gave them a real kick! I shallow fried the burgers for about 4 minutes on each side – I could fit 7 at a time in my frying pan, these were then kept warm in the oven whilst I cooked the rest. As you can see, tonight we had ours with some boiled new potatoes, steamed broccoli and a drizzle of mayonnaise.
