A Bounty of Butterflies …

I had a lot of fun with these butterflies this afternoon and liked the effect that having some of them made out of patterned paper had on the overall image:

    • So far I’ve only sold some of my art in the form of greetings cards. However, I would happily look in to selling some if you are interested. Let me know what you would like and I’ll see what I can do. Many thanks for the question !

      • Well, my sister is expecting a baby girl in Aug and I would love to get a painting for above her crib. Something original is important obviously, I love the butterflies and purple is my sisters favorite color. Id probably want something like 2 ft by 2ft? I love in Colorado, let me know what kind of price you would have in mind.

      • Sounds lovely. I’ll do a bit of research re posting & packaging and will get back to you in a few days. I’ll also paint a purple butterfly picture which I’ll post on here within the next week – maybe you can let me know what you think in terms of colour, style etc?

  1. Hi Sara, I’ve painted some purple butterflies today, you can see them on my latest post. In terms of price it would be about $60 for the painting plus $15 for postage and packaging. I would package the painting and the purple backing card separately inside a cardboard tube. I think that if I were to attach the painting to the card before posting it could damage the painting itself. In this way, you would be able to decide on the depth of the backing card and it will be easier to size for framing too. Let me know if you are interested – many thanks for asking me, it’s been lovely to paint these this afternoon,
