I bought a small bunch of these poppies last weekend, they didn’t look as though they would last very long but I thought the colours were beautiful. I think they just needed a bit of tlc because now they are stunning. This painting was done with the poppies below, in mind:

they could be – naming flowers was never my strong point. I’ve just looked at some images of them on google and they certainly look very similar – will let you know
